Senior Data Scientist

The Alexander Technology Group is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to develop predictive models, create new analytical capabilities, and help shape the future of their AI-driven platform within the Retail industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models, forecasting, anomaly detection, and causal analysis.
• Build customer and product analytics that drive business decisions.
• Design, test, and deploy production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Work with large-scale datasets using Python and SQL.
• Deepen AI/LLM experience (including Gemini).
• Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable analytical features.
• Qualifications
• Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Experience deploying production machine learning models.
• Knowledge of forecasting, Bayesian methods, or causal inference.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery is a plus.
• Retail, eCommerce, or other transaction-heavy industry experience is preferred.
