Senior Data Scientist

We're working with a highly influential and critical financial institution focused on consumer protection and community development. This organization is establishing an advanced AI Lab to pioneers generative AI and machine learning solutions, significantly enhancing productivity and analytical capabilities.

The Role

• Research, design, and develop advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions, with a strong focus on generative AI applications.
• Build and transition successful proof-of-concept AI prototypes into production applications, taking end-to-end ownership.
• Design and implement applications leveraging large language models for diverse text analysis, summarization, and workflow automation.
• Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Deploy and maintain AI/ML models and applications in cloud environments, including containerization and CI/CD practices.
• Create interactive dashboards and analytical applications, translating complex outputs into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

What You'll Need

• At least six years of hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML applications in professional or academic settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related technology field.
• Expert proficiency in Python or R for data science development, alongside experience with additional programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to build, deploy, and maintain AI/ML applications in cloud environments, with containerization and basic CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in building interactive applications and dashboards using frameworks like Streamlit, Dash, Flask, or RShiny.
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI technologies, including frameworks like Scikit-learn, Spacy, and XGBoost.
