Role Description This is a part-time remote role that supports Women For Security’s mission by contributing to community initiatives and information security-related activities. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with research projects, helping organize virtual events or discussions, and supporting content creation for community resources and communications. The role may involve coordinating with members, gathering and sharing relevant security insights, and maintaining documentation or online platforms used by the community. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the core team to ensure smooth execution of programs and meaningful engagement within the community.
Qualifications
Demonstrated interest or foundational knowledge in information security, cybersecurity, or related technology fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to interpret technical or research materials clearly.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate in virtual settings.
Organizational and time-management skills suitable for part-time remote work, including managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfort with online collaboration tools and digital platforms used for community engagement and knowledge sharing.
Previous experience in community building, research assistance, event coordination, or content support is a plus.
