Senior Data Lead

• The Opportunity
• As Senior Data Lead, you will sit at the intersection of data architecture and business strategy. You will own Charm’s data infrastructure and analytics function — building the systems, governance frameworks, and team culture that transform raw data into clear, actionable intelligence.
• This is a senior, player-coach role for someone who can design scalable data infrastructure, lead a technical team, and communicate insights directly to executive stakeholders. You’ll be a key voice in shaping how Charm uses data to compete and grow.

What You’ll Do

• Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
• Define analytical standards and best practices, and coach the team on execution and communication.
• Foster a culture of curiosity, rigor, and collaboration within the data function.

• Data Strategy & Architecture
• Design and oversee the development of scalable data warehouses, pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Own Charm’s end-to-end data strategy, ensuring infrastructure decisions are aligned with business objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and evolve the data stack to keep pace with Charm’s growth.

• Data Governance & Quality
• Implement data quality frameworks and establish validation processes across the organization.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all pipelines, models, and reporting surfaces.
• Define and enforce data governance standards, ownership, and documentation practices.

• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as the primary point of contact between the data team and business leaders across product, sales, and operations.
• Translate complex business problems into structured, actionable analysis plans.
• Communicate findings and recommendations in clear, executive-level presentations and reports.

• Cross-Functional & ML Support
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to deploy data models and machine learning algorithms into production.
• Collaborate with operations to optimize data-driven workflows and surface efficiency opportunities.
• Support strategic initiatives with data modeling, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis as needed.
