Responsibilities
- Outline and engineer novel power routing frameworks at the rack level, encompassing alternating current, direct current, and high-voltage direct current setups.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technology, including solid-state fail-safes, smart switching, and artificial intelligence-driven load management.
- Act as the primary technical pioneer, transforming how power is scaled, governed, and distributed across next-generation facilities.
- Direct cross-functional engineering units during rapid prototyping phases to ensure new design concepts are viable and manufacturable.
- Collaborate strategically with top-tier technology suppliers to ensure seamless system interoperability and speed up product development.
- Serve as the organization's authoritative voice and thought leader in client innovation discussions and industry standardization committees.

- Technical Skills: Total Data Center Power Chain Architecture, High-Voltage Direct Current Integration , Rack-Level Power Distribution , AI-Enabled Load Balancing , Solid-State Protection Systems , In-Rack Busbars and Modular Busways.
- Soft Skills: Cross-Functional Leadership , Industry Standards Advocacy , Vendor Partnership Management , Adaptability and Innovation , Optimism and Energizing Presence.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
A minimum of ten years of professional background within telecom power frameworks, data center infrastructures, or power electronics.
Comprehensive knowledge of the total power chain, spanning from the initial utility connection down to the data hall IT equipment.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional engineering teams.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, provided there is established expertise in electro-mechanical power systems.
Nice-to-Haves
Fifteen or more years of relevant industry expertise.
Demonstrated experience bringing entirely new electrical system concepts from ideation to the commercial market.
Flexibility to relocate to the highly preferred Raleigh, NC area, or alternative key locations including Anoka, MN, St. Louis, MO, or Tucson, AZ, with relocation support provided.
