2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Data Engineer role is centered on developing and maintaining data integration pipelines to support enterprise data warehousing and reporting needs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring data availability and quality for corporate initiatives and client contracts, while also advancing AI-powered solutions that enhance workflows and decision-making. The role contributes by delivering reliable data interfaces and mentoring junior team members, supporting the organization''s mission to improve healthcare delivery through data-driven technology.
3. Responsibilities:
- • Implement and support inbound data integrations to meet data requirements
- • Develop and maintain data pipelines for enterprise data warehousing
- • Build and support outbound data interfaces for reporting and data products
- • Mentor junior developers and contractors, guiding task scoping and work review
- • Utilize AI tools such as Github Copilot and M365 in development processes
- • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms
4. Requirements:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- • Minimum 4 years experience in modeling, designing, building, and supporting data integration processes
- • At least 2 years experience with AI tools and libraries for developing AI data corpus, models, and agents
- • Intermediate proficiency in SQL, Python, and data libraries for profiling and transforming large datasets
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Experience in specialty pharmacy or healthcare
- • Familiarity or certification with Databricks technologies
- • Knowledge of healthcare data transport mechanisms
- • Ability to translate technical requirements into business value and provide clear documentation
- • Experience in code reviews and establishing team best practices
Soft Skills:
- • Ability to understand complex technical and business concepts and communicate clearly
- • Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively
- • Effective written and verbal communication skills
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- • Salary range: $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment
- • Benefits include comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions
