Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support enterprise data platforms and production environments for a global asset management organization. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting data workflows, troubleshooting production issues, improving platform reliability, and providing technical guidance across the team.

Location: Boston, MA, onsite 4 days per week

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Collibra, and related data workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Diagnose data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and data movement issues.
• Support incident management, operational changes, and release readiness.
• Improve monitoring, automation, documentation, and recurring issue prevention.
• Partner with engineering, product, business, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering or enterprise data platform experience.
• Strong Snowflake, advanced SQL, and Python experience.
• Experience with dbt Cloud, Fivetran, or similar data pipeline technologies.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and data movement.
• Experience mentoring engineers or coordinating technical work.
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with AEM, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce C360, Workfront, or Collibra is a plus.
