Senior Data Engineer

• Location: Chandler, AZ
• Required Pay Scale: $62 - $65/hour W2

• Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in traditional database technologies, ETL development, Python, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working across enterprise database environments and building, enhancing, and supporting data integration solutions.
• Must-Have Skills
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with traditional database technologies, including:
• MySQL
• Oracle Database
• SQL Server
• Teradata
• Strong Python development experience for data processing, automation, and ETL workflows.
• Experience with Informatica or comparable enterprise ETL tools.
• Strong SQL development and optimization skills.
• Experience with data modeling, including relational modeling and database normalization.
• Experience working on enterprise data projects involving implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and/or migrations.
• Ability to work across multiple database platforms and understand data movement and integration between systems.
• Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain data engineering and ETL solutions across enterprise database environments.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing workflows.
• Build and maintain Informatica ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data.
• Use Python to automate data workflows, processing, validation, and operational tasks.
• Develop and maintain data models while applying normalization and data quality principles.
• Support database implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
• Troubleshoot data integration and database issues and provide production support as needed.
• Collaborate with application, database, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with Nateeza.
• Experience using AI tools to improve data engineering, development, testing, documentation, or productivity.
