Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:

• • Building and maintaining enterprise Data Lakes and\or Data Warehouses.
• • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake and modern data engineering best practices.
• • Architect and optimize Snowflake data models, including schema design, data clustering, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• • Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to convert clear requirements into robust data engineering solutions.
• • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and pipeline reliability.
• • Contribute to architectural decisions, development standards, and overall platform strategy.
• • Work independently on complex tasks while also contributing to a collaborative, team oriented environment.

Required Skills:

• • 7+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or related fields
• • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Warehouses, RBAC, Clustering, and Performance Optimization
• • Strong expertise in SQL, modern ETL/ELT frameworks, and data pipeline development
• • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• • Proficiency in Python for data engineering
• • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and/or Airflow
• • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing principles, and distributed data systems • Proven ability to work independently, owning end to end solutions from requirement to deployment
• • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams

Compensation:

$53/hr to $64/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
