- Role: Senior Data Engineer
- Rate: $60-70/hr T4; $70-80/hr INC
- Length: 6 months (strong potential for extension)

- Your New Role
- As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable data solutions that power advertising analytics and reporting across the Retail Media Platform.
- You will:
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines to support campaign reporting and analytics
- Analyze data to uncover patterns, identify issues, and ensure high-quality reporting outputs
- Develop robust data models and semantic layers to support downstream analytics
- Automate reporting pipelines and contribute to real-time streaming dashboards
- Design and implement data validation and testing strategies to ensure data integrity
- Optimize queries and performance across different layers of the data pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics teams
- Support a hypotheses-driven, data-centric product development environment
- What You’ll Need to Succeed
- To be successful, you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong experience building data pipelines using Python, Java, or Scala
- Hands-on experience with GCP tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataproc)
- Experience with modern data stack tools such as DBT and Airflow
- Experience working with non-relational databases (e.g., Bigtable, Druid)
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform deep analysis
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Familiarity with Git and engineering best practices
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Nice-to-have:
- Experience in advertising, ad tech, or retail media platforms
