- Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a QA Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst Engineer. The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for web, internal, and partner-facing systems used to support JOKER WAGYU’s operations. You will perform manual testing of new features, integrations, and enhancements, log and track defects, and verify fixes in collaboration with developers and business stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include validating requirements, preparing test data, executing regression tests, and contributing to test plans and acceptance criteria. You will also help refine QA processes, document testing outcomes, and support continuous improvement of product quality and user experience.
- Qualifications
- Strong Quality Assurance background, with experience applying QA methodologies and best practices to web or business systems.
- Hands-on Manual Testing expertise, including the ability to identify edge cases and validate complex user flows.
- Proficiency in Test Execution and creation, including writing, maintaining, and optimizing clear and reusable test cases.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting requirements, investigating defects, and translating findings into actionable feedback.
- Attention to detail and accurate defect reporting using common issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience testing integrations, APIs, or data flows is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the food, agriculture, or export industry, or interest in premium food brands, is a plus.
- Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB) or equivalent practical experience in software QA is preferred.
