Senior Data Engineer - Databricks greenfield build, Global Asset Manager

Vice President of Data Engineering - Global Asset Management - $250,000 to $325,000

You'll lead a greenfield data build that's already got real momentum behind it.

This isn't starting from scratch. You're joining a team that's been building for 18 months, with infrastructure in place and clear direction. But there's still plenty to shape. You'll have genuine ownership over the data engineering function and the chance to grow your team as headcount expands across the firm.

You'll report directly to senior leadership. High visibility, real influence. The platform is fairly greenfield, so you will need to be able to expand the build on DataBricks, with Pyspark or Python +Sql. This is a must have, and candidates without that experience will not be considered.

The firm is one of the top asset managers in New York. Their London HQ is well established, but they've recently expanded their New York office with plans to grow to 150 people in the US. Leadership sees more growth happening stateside, and you'll be central to that.

You'll be office-based in New York, working closely with your team and the wider business.

You need strong experience with Snowflake and Databricks. That's non-negotiable. Beyond that, you'll bring a track record of building and leading data engineering in financial services.

Total compensation is $250,000 to $325,000, depending on experience.
