Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Our Alberta client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 13-month contract opportunity in Edmonton, Alberta. The role is primarily remote, with occasional meetings or work sessions in Edmonton as required. Work must be performed within Canada.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and/or Data Analyst
• 5+ years of experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL for enterprise-grade ETL/ELT workflows
• 4+ years of experience designing Data Warehouses/Lakehouses, including Star/Snowflake schemas and fact/dimension modeling
• 4+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and self-service BI solutions
• 4+ years of experience with cloud or hybrid data platforms
• 2+ years of experience with data migration and modernization across on-premises, cloud, and cross-database environments
• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines for transforming and loading data from multiple sources.
