Senior Business Systems Analyst – Enterprise Print & AFP

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Systems Analyst with strong expertise in AFP (Advanced Function Presentation) and enterprise application analysis. The ideal candidate will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering and translating business requirements into functional solutions while supporting AFP document generation, print stream processing, and enterprise business applications. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience in requirements management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements. Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, use cases, and user stories. Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for development teams. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, story refinement, and retrospectives. Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements. Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production deployments. Assist with change management, documentation, training, and release activities. Work closely with technical teams on AFP-based document generation and output management solutions. Analyze AFP print streams, document composition workflows, fonts, overlays, resources, and output generation requirements. Support troubleshooting and enhancements involving AFP applications and document processing systems. Expertise Hands-on experience with Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) architecture and document processing. Understanding of AFP print streams, resources, fonts, overlays, page segments, and document composition. Experience supporting AFP document generation and production workflows. Ability to work with technical teams on AFP-based enhancements, troubleshooting, and implementations. Methodologies & Tools Agile/Scrum Methodologies Requirements Management Tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) Process Modeling Tools Documentation and Reporting Tools Preferred Skills Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services domains. Knowledge of enterprise document generation platforms. Familiarity with APIs and enterprise application integrations. Exposure to Product Ownership and Scrum practices. SQL and database querying skills. Understanding of data transformation and document workflow processes. Experience working with large-scale enterprise modernization initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 6+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role. Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO, or SAFe are desirable.
