Senior Automation Software Quality Assurance Analyst

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Software Quality Assurance Analyst to provide technical leadership in enterprise level test automation and quality engineering. This role will modernize testing capabilities by combining automation frameworks, AI supported testing solutions, and CI/CD practices to accelerate release cycles and minimize production defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA Automation Engineers and teams.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Define automation roadmaps, standards, governance, and quality metrics.
• Build and maintain UI, API, database, regression, integration, and end to end automated test suites.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, QA, Business Analysts, and Architects.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Bamboo).
• Implement AI driven testing solutions and shift left practices.
• Provide reporting on test automation progress, coverage, defect trends, and quality risks.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of Software QA experience.
• 5+ years leading QA Automation teams.
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong background in manual testing strategies.
• Hands on experience with Agile/Scrum, Git based practices, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills

• Automation tools: Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium (preferred), REST API automation.
• Programming: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#.
• Expertise in UI, API, database, regression, integration, functional, and system testing.
• Knowledge of test data management, automated quality gates, and AI driven testing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Appium.
• Exposure to enterprise application testing.
• Background in large scale public sector or government technology projects.
• Experience evaluating and recommending QA tools
