2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Associate, Sustainability Data Strategy plays a critical role in advancing sustainability initiatives by managing and analyzing GHG emissions data and related environmental impact metrics. This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity, compliance with industry standards, and delivering actionable insights that inform client sustainability strategies. The role contributes to the organization''s ability to provide disciplined data governance and effective sustainability solutions.
3. Responsibilities:
- • Design and implement processes and controls to ensure data integrity, including quality checks and audits.
- • Perform data audits to identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
- • Document data flows, business rules, and technical definitions for transparency.
- • Develop and deliver training programs on data management and dashboard utilization.
- • Stay current with standards and best practices in data management and sustainability reporting.
- • Manage GHG emissions data using internal platforms and train users on their optimization.
- • Lead and support GHG accounting projects aligned with recognized frameworks.
- • Analyze large datasets related to environmental impacts.
- • Create data visualizations and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- • Translate complex sustainability data into clear, actionable insights.
- • Collaborate with teams to assess structures and integrate data-driven sustainability solutions.
- • Manage multiple projects, delivering quality outputs on time.
- • Engage with clients to advise on sustainability goals and implementation strategies.
- • Support development of decarbonization plans and stakeholder engagement tools.
- • Ensure consistent use of materials and environmental impact protocols.
- • Support training on project management processes and knowledge sharing.
- • Assist with project renewals, proposals, and budget preparation.
- • Integrate environmental justice priorities into programs and align with leading frameworks.
- • Monitor market trends and regulatory compliance for service optimization.
- • Promote safety and compliance throughout project activities.
- • Identify and share sustainability success stories within project portfolios.
- • Perform other duties as assigned.
4. Requirements:
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Business, or related field; or High School Diploma/GED with four years relevant experience.
- • Minimum four years relevant work experience in project/business management and environmental or services industry.
- • Preferred experience in sports venues, event operations, and organizational sustainability strategy within sports and entertainment.
- • Preferred experience managing sustainability projects involving on-site logistics.
- • Preferred experience with material minimization, diversion programs, supply chain analyses, and sustainable material management.
- • No specific certifications required.
- • Self-motivated with ability to deliver results.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
