Senior Analytics Consultant (Power BI & Data Architecture)

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant with expertise in Power BI UI/UX design and development, semantic modeling, and modern data architecture. In this role, you will lead client engagements, translate complex business requirements into intuitive analytics solutions, and build enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and data models.

This is not a purely tactical reporting role—you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, driving decision-first analytics, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and helping scale client commercial intelligence capabilities.

Power BI Expertise required for this role. Must have a portfolio of work to show with strong UI/UX.

• Key Responsibilities
• Solution Architecture & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable Power BI dashboards, semantic layers, and data models.
• Requirements & Advisory: Partner directly with executive stakeholders and client business units to elicit requirements, translate ambiguous requests into structured technical scopes, and define core KPI frameworks.
• Data Engineering & Modeling: Write complex SQL queries, design Star/Snowflake schemas, build advanced DAX measures, and optimize Power Query transformations for enterprise-scale performance.
• Quality & Best Practices: Enforce standards for visual design, data governance, security (Row-Level Security / RLS), workspace administration, and platform performance optimization.
• Client Engagement & Enablement: Facilitate working sessions, conduct technical playback demos, and document data dictionaries and runbooks to drive self-service adoption across client teams.

• Required Qualifications
• Experience: 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise analytics and business intelligence solutions, with at least 2+ years in external consulting or client-facing advisory roles.
• Power BI Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service, complex DAX calculations, Power Query (M), semantic modeling, and workspace administration.
• SQL & Data Warehousing: Advanced SQL skills with deep experience modeling data from cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or SQL Server).
• Consulting Aptitude: Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs, manage project scope, and communicate effectively with non-technical leadership.
• Work Authorization & Flexibility: Authorized to work in the US and open to contract-to-hire engagement structures.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Databricks, advanced data preparation tools (e.g., Dataiku, Alteryx) and/or Python/R for analytical data pipelines.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or similar enterprise cloud/data certifications.
• Experience working in regulated domains (e.g., Life Sciences/Biopharma, Utilities, Healthcare, or Multi-unit Operations).
