Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Principal Consultant to lead enterprise planning and analytics initiatives for large-scale SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including planning models, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, predictive planning, and enterprise performance management. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong consulting, solution architecture, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions.
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable planning and forecasting solutions.
Design and develop SAC Planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, data actions, allocations, business rules, and planning workflows.
Implement budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, workforce planning, capital planning, and operational planning solutions.
Develop advanced dashboards, stories, planning reports, and executive scorecards.
Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP BPC, and other enterprise systems.
Design planning security, data access controls, and governance frameworks.
Build predictive planning and what-if analysis models.
Lead workshops, solution design sessions, and executive presentations.
Provide best practices around SAC Planning architecture, performance optimization, and governance.
Mentor consultants and support delivery teams throughout project implementation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality planning solutions.
Support pre-sales activities, solution estimations, and proposal development when required.
Required Skills
10+ years of SAP Analytics experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.

Experience developing SAC Stories, Dashboards, and Analytical Applications.
Strong understanding of SAP Financial Planning and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
Experience integrating SAC with:
SAP S/4HANA
SAP BW/4HANA
SAP BW
SAP Datasphere
SAP BPC
Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge.
Experience with data imports, live connections, and data acquisition models.
Knowledge of planning security and authorization concepts.
Strong client-facing consulting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Certification.
Experience with SAP Datasphere.
Experience with SAP Group Reporting.
Experience with SAP PaPM.
Knowledge of SAP BTP.
Experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
