• Role Overview
• The Trading Risk Model Development team at a leading financial institution is seeking a skilled professional to support Market Risk Stress Testing initiatives. This role involves developing, maintaining, and executing quantitative models used in regulatory and internal stress testing programs.

• Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance quantitative models for market risk stress testing
• Execute models during stress testing cycles (e.g., DFAST, EWST, MST)
• Maintain and improve existing models in line with model governance standards
• Research new methodologies to improve modeling accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze financial variables and provide insights on stress testing outcomes
• Prepare clear and detailed technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Model Validation, Risk, Technology, and Economics
• Support implementation and resolve model-related issues

• Required Skills & Experience
• Strong background in quantitative finance and statistical modeling
• Knowledge of derivative valuation and market risk modeling (Rates, Credit, Equity, FX)
• Proficiency in Python and R
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively (written and verbal)
• Strong team collaboration and independent working ability

• Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience (open to strong recent graduates)
• Exposure to stress testing frameworks
• Experience with C++ (nice to have)
