Python Programmer AI, ML & LLM Engineer

  • Posted: Now accepting applications
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Work Model: Remote
  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $195,000 annually
  • About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly capable Python AI Programmer to help develop back-end services, AI-assisted workflows, data processing scripts, integrations, and intelligent features that support the company’s products and internal systems.
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean Python code, working with large language models, machine learning concepts, AI APIs, structured data, automation tools, and business logic. The Python AI Programmer will work across back-end systems, LLM-powered workflows, databases, cloud services, and third-party integrations to create reliable, scalable, and maintainable AI-enabled functionality.
  • You will help develop intelligent features that support areas such as job matching, candidate evaluation, recommendation logic, workflow automation, data processing, AI-assisted decision support, model-output evaluation, and internal productivity tools. The right candidate is both technically strong and practical: someone who can move quickly, troubleshoot issues, improve existing systems, and build solutions that work in real-world production environments.
  • We are a rapidly growing, ambitious, and fast-paced group. We are looking for applicants who bring that same energy: people who move quickly, solve problems, learn new tools, and enjoy building practical systems that produce real business value.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop back-end services, scripts, and internal tools using Python.
  • Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows using LLMs, model outputs, structured prompts, business rules, and automation logic.
  • Integrate with AI APIs, LLM providers, third-party APIs, databases, cloud services, and internal platforms.
  • Create data processing scripts for parsing, cleaning, transforming, validating, and analyzing structured and semi-structured data.
  • Develop logic for job matching, candidate evaluation, scoring systems, recommendations, rankings, and workflow decisioning.
  • Design, test, and refine prompt workflows to improve consistency, accuracy, reliability, formatting, and usefulness of AI-generated outputs.
  • Work with machine learning concepts such as classification, ranking, scoring, embeddings, similarity matching, and AI-assisted evaluation methods.
  • Build API integrations for moving data between internal systems, external platforms, automation tools, and business applications.
  • Work with databases to retrieve, update, validate, normalize, and structure data for application, LLM, and AI workflow use cases.
  • Debug backend processes, automation workflows, API responses, model behavior, prompt failures, data issues, and integration errors.
  • Test AI outputs for accuracy, structure, formatting, reliability, hallucination risk, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Help improve internal automation systems that reduce manual work, improve speed, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, technical, and business teams to understand requirements and turn them into working solutions.
  • Document scripts, workflows, integrations, prompts, model behavior, business logic, and technical processes clearly.
  • Monitor and improve existing tools for performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience programming in Python.
  • Experience building backend scripts, services, automation tools, data processing workflows, or internal systems.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI APIs, prompt design, model outputs, and AI-assisted application workflows.
  • Understanding of practical machine learning concepts, including classification, ranking, scoring, embeddings, similarity matching, or model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party service integrations.
  • Experience working with structured data, databases, and business logic.
  • Ability to write clean, organized, maintainable code.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to test, validate, and refine AI-assisted workflows.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical work clearly.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Meta Llama, Mistral, Hugging Face, or other AI model providers.
  • Experience building LLM-powered workflows, AI agents, structured prompt systems, or model-assisted decision tools.
  • Experience with embeddings, vector search, semantic similarity, retrieval-augmented generation, or ranking systems.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows, model evaluation, training data preparation, feature engineering, or predictive logic.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Pipedream, Workato, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, vector databases, or other structured data systems.
  • Experience with cloud services, serverless functions, hosted backend environments, or API-based infrastructure.
  • Experience building scoring systems, recommendation logic, matching algorithms, or evaluation workflows.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI output validation, structured JSON responses, and model testing.
  • Experience with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL-style scripts, CSV processing, and API-based data exchange.
  • Experience supporting production systems, internal tools, or business-critical automation.
  • Ideal Candidate
  • The ideal candidate is a builder who enjoys connecting systems, automating repetitive work, and using Python, LLMs, and applied machine learning concepts to solve practical business problems. You should be comfortable working with imperfect data, changing requirements, API documentation, AI model behavior, and production troubleshooting.
  • You do not need to be a machine learning researcher, but you should have hands-on experience applying LLMs, AI APIs, model outputs, data processing, and machine learning concepts in real-world software or automation environments. This role is focused on applied AI programming: building workflows, integrations, backend logic, intelligent features, and AI-assisted systems that produce measurable business value.
  • Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of $150,000 – $195,000 annually
  • Full-time remote work
  • Opportunity to work on modern AI-enabled products and automation systems
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, backend systems, data workflows, and applied machine learning concepts
  • Fast-moving, growth-oriented environment
  • Meaningful ownership of technical projects and internal systems
  • Collaborative team culture
  • Opportunities to expand skills in AI, automation, backend development, APIs, databases, and cloud services
  • Why Join Us
  • This is an opportunity to work on practical AI systems that are actively used to improve products, automate workflows, evaluate information, and support business operations. You will have the chance to build tools and features that combine Python, AI APIs, LLMs, structured data, machine learning concepts, integrations, and automation into real working systems.
  • We value people who are curious, resourceful, technically sharp, and willing to take ownership. If you enjoy building useful systems, solving complex problems, and working with modern AI technology in a fast-paced environment, this role may be a strong fit.
  • How to Apply
  • Interested candidates should submit a resume and a brief summary of relevant experience with Python, AI APIs, LLMs, machine learning concepts, automation, integrations, databases, or backend development.
