The Impact You Will Have In This Role
The Enterprise Data Team is building the trusted, well-governed data foundation that enables enterprise decision-making and emerging AI capabilities at DTCC. As a Product Owner Senior Associate, you will take hands-on ownership of enterprise data products, improve how data is integrated, governed, monitored, and used, and explore new AI opportunities through research, analysis, and proofs of concept. This is an opportunity for a curious, proactive professional to develop deep product expertise, shape roadmaps, and provide recommendations that influence DTCC’s enterprise data and AI strategy.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Own and improve enterprise data capabilities across areas such as data integration, data quality, governance, metadata, and AI enablement
- Develop a strong understanding of each capability from end to end, including its technology, users, dependencies, and operational challenges
- Partner with Business, Engineering, Architecture, and Data Governance teams to identify problems, remove bottlenecks, improve adoption, and deliver measurable value
- Translate business and technical needs into clear functional requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
- Serve as the day-to-day Product Owner for Agile delivery teams, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and delivery.
- Research emerging data and AI technologies, market participants, and potential enterprise use cases
- Develop proofs of concept and assess whether new ideas are valuable, viable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise needs
- Present leaders with thorough analysis, practical options, and clear, decision-ready recommendations
- Take increasing ownership of assigned capabilities while helping shape their strategy, adoption, and roadmap

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, technology delivery, or a related field, ideally supporting data, analytics, or AI-enabled platforms
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success
- Experience translating complex business and technical needs into actionable product requirements
- Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to investigate unfamiliar topics and develop well-supported recommendations
- Experience partnering with Agile technology or engineering teams
- Ability to establish priorities, make sound decisions, and move ambiguous initiatives forward with minimal oversight
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in enterprise data, emerging technology, and AI
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, Snowflake, data governance, data quality, metadata, analytics, or AI-enabled products is preferred
- Familiarity with generative AI, semantic models, knowledge graphs, agentic workflows, or related technologies is preferred
- Experience conducting proofs of concept, market research, feasibility assessments, or product roadmap development is preferred
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar product delivery tools is preferred
