- Product Content Operations Analyst
- Contract (6–12 months) | Westerville, OH (hybrid/on-site preferred; remote considered for the right candidate) | 3 openings
- Our client, a global manufacturer of critical digital infrastructure, is looking for hands-on Product Content Operations Analysts. The client has a large product portfolio with a lot of duplicate, outdated, and incomplete content across its DAM, PIM, and website. The analyst’s first job is to listen and learn, then build a plan, then do the cleanup and set up governance so the content stays clean.
- What you’ll do
- Audit product content across DAM, PIM, and web platforms, then find and fix duplicate, outdated, inaccurate, or missing content
- Standardize metadata, tagging, taxonomy, naming conventions, and asset lifecycle and retirement processes
- Clean up PIM data by resolving duplicate records, filling product information gaps, and standardizing attributes and descriptions
- Make sure published product content on the website is accurate, current, and matches the source systems
- Coordinate content creation, review, and publishing with Product Management, Marketing, Digital CX, regional teams, and SMEs
- Write down scalable governance and workflows that connect product lifecycle stages to DAM, PIM, and web publishing
- Use AI and automation tools for classification, metadata generation, enrichment, and gap analysis
- Build reporting and metrics that track content quality, audit progress, and completeness
- What you bring
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in product content, product data, digital asset, catalog, or eCommerce content operations
- A proven track record of cleaning up large, messy datasets or content libraries. We care more about what you’ve fixed than how long you’ve been doing it
- Experience with metadata, tagging, taxonomy, or naming standards, and ideally helping create or enforce them
- Strong Excel skills, plus solid PowerPoint and Teams
- Experience leading cross-functional content or data initiatives that produced measurable quality improvements
- A strategic mindset combined with a willingness to dig in and do the work yourself
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with DAM, PIM, or CMS platforms (e.g., Salsify, Akeneo, inRiver, Stibo, AEM, Bynder, Aprimo)
- AI experience for content enrichment or automation
- A background in B2B, manufacturing, industrial, or technology environments
- We’re prioritizing demonstrated, hands-on results over years of experience. If you’ve owned a big cleanup or governance effort, we want to hear from you.
