Acuity is seeking a Product Analyst – Operations to support the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of Acuity’s existing insurance product portfolio across both Commercial Lines and Personal Lines. This role plays a key part in supporting Acuity’s market strategy by ensuring products remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with evolving market needs through careful oversight of forms, rates, rules, and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Product Development/Underwriting Compliance to draft forms, endorsements, notices, rates, and rules for new and existing products. Coordinate review of changes with Product Compliance.
  • Coordinate preparation of and submit form, rate, and rule filings, by gathering information, completing templates, and helping ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and submit statistical reports, coordinate data calls and survey requests response, manage ISO reporting process.
  • Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing insurance products in alignment with strategic objectives; ensure continued market competitiveness and regulatory compliance with a focus on customer expectations.
  • Provide guidance to the business on required/desired changes to products, services, and geographies and participate in centralized regulatory change management efforts.
  • Coordinates timely implementation of regulatory changes across departments.
  • Proactively monitor insurance industry and macroeconomic trends to support Acuity's dynamic and ongoing strategies.
  • Actively pursue continued professional development, including strengthening coverage language aptitude, enriching industry knowledge, and deepening research and analytical capabilities.
  • Highly regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or extensive applicable experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in maintaining and enhancing insurance products/services in a collaborative environment. Market and product research/analysis experience, with demonstrated expertise in either Personal or Commercial lines property and casualty insurance products. Strong analytical skills and experience with insurance department filings preferred. Detailed knowledge of insurance forms and coverages is a plus.

  • Capable of working with a variety of computer software programs including Microsoft Products, Adobe Acrobat, Dev Ops and Workfront.

This job is classified as exempt.

The salary range for this position is $66,000 - $116,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
