Required Skills & Experience

  • - Advanced experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX calculations.
  • - Strong proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, data manipulation, reporting).
  • - Experience building data-driven presentations for executive audiences using PowerPoint.
  • - Ability to connect and integrate data from multiple technical sources into reporting solutions.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Power BI & Reporting Analyst for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will play a critical role in driving advanced reporting, dashboard development, and data analytics initiatives across the organization. The position is highly technical in nature, with a strong emphasis on building scalable Power BI solutions and translating complex data into executive-level insights and presentations.

This is a hands-on role requiring a self-driven, proactive resource who can independently own deliverables, manage priorities, and partner cross-functionally to ensure reporting accuracy, clarity, and business impact.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports to support business and executive decision-making.
  • Perform complex data analysis, including building calculations, formulas, and data models to generate actionable insights.
  • Integrate data across multiple platforms and sources, ensuring seamless connectivity into reporting tools.
  • Create executive-level presentations (PowerPoint) by translating technical findings into clear, visually compelling narratives.
  • Partner with technical and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and effectively communicate data concepts.
  • Support integration between Power BI, PowerApps, and presentation tools, including linking reports, dashboards, and meeting materials.
  • Drive automation and reduce manual reporting efforts through scalable dashboard solutions.
  • Operate independently with strong ownership over deliverables, timelines, and reporting quality.
