  • Role Description The Pharmaceutical Director Analytics Dashboards BI Tableau role is a full-time , Hybrid position with my client in Morris County, N.J..
  • You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of analytics dashboards that support pharmaceutical business decisions. This role involves transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable visualizations using Tableau and other BI tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define key metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements. The director will oversee data quality processes, ensure consistency and accuracy of analytics outputs, and guide the strategic use of data for forecasting, performance tracking, and regulatory reporting. Day-to-day tasks include managing analytics projects, mentoring team members, communicating insights to leadership, and continuously improving dashboard usability and data governance standards within a pharmaceutical context.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pharmaceutical, commercial, and operational data for strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and data analysis, including experience with large datasets, data modeling, and performance measurement.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and data science concepts to support forecasting, trend analysis, and experimental design in pharmaceutical settings.
  • Advanced expertise in BI tools (Tableau, etc.) for dashboard development, data visualization, and report automation.
  • Experience leading analytics or BI teams, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing priorities and collaborating across multiple time zones.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and data governance best practices is highly beneficial.
