Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Payment Business Analyst with strong experience in JPMorgan Concourse, payment systems, and Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product, Treasury, Finance, Technology, Digital, and Engineering teams to analyze business requirements and support enterprise payment solutions.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of payment processing, reconciliation, billing, treasury integrations, Mainframe applications, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and support enterprise payment solutions and payment processing workflows.
Work with business and technology stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows.
Support JPMorgan Concourse payment-related capabilities and integrations.
Analyze Mainframe-based payment applications, interfaces, data flows, and downstream/upstream dependencies.
Work across payment lifecycle processes including payment initiation, processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, process mapping, and root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Product, Engineering, Billing, UX, and Technology teams.
Support payment reporting, reconciliation, cash application, settlement tracking, and financial controls.
Participate in requirements workshops and facilitate discussions with business and technical teams.
Coordinate with payment processors, banks, vendors, and other external partners when required.
Support testing activities, including test strategy, test scenarios, UAT, defect analysis, and validation.
Ensure requirements and solutions align with security, regulatory, audit, and financial control requirements.
Maintain requirements and project documentation using Jira and Confluence.
Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills
13+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.
Strong experience with Payment Systems / Financial Systems.
JPMorgan Concourse experience is highly preferred/required.
Strong Mainframe experience with understanding of legacy payment applications and integrations.
Experience with ACH, payment processing, lockbox, AutoPay, card payments, or real-time payments.
Understanding of Treasury, cash management, settlement, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
Experience creating BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
Strong SDLC knowledge across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
Experience with APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application architecture.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
JPMorgan Chase / Banking / Financial Services experience.
Experience with JPMorgan Concourse.
Mainframe technologies and legacy financial/payment applications.
Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
Knowledge of PCI, fraud controls, audit requirements, and financial controls.
Experience working with Treasury, Finance, Product, and Technology teams.
Experience supporting enterprise payment transformation programs.
