Job Summary
We are seeking a mid-level CIB Support Analyst / Business Analyst with 2-4 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking environments. The successful candidate will support critical banking operations by investigating data, loan setup, credit risk, pricing, treasury, and finance-related issues while coordinating with global stakeholders across North America, Europe, and APAC.
This role combines business analysis, data investigation, process improvement, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have exposure to institutional banking operations and possess strong SQL and Python skills for analysis and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and resolve data and process issues impacting credit risk, loan operations, treasury, pricing, and finance teams.
Analyze complex datasets using SQL and Python to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
Partner with business, operations, risk, finance, and technology teams to coordinate issue resolution.
Support process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy across banking systems and workflows.
Prepare concise summaries and communicate findings to business stakeholders and senior management.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment.
Required Qualifications
2-4 years of experience within Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Institutional Banking, Credit Operations, Loan Operations, Loan Administration, or Capital Markets Operations.
Strong understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) processes.
Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and investigation.
Working knowledge of Python for automation and process improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting credit risk, loan servicing, syndicated loans, treasury, or finance functions.
Background as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Banking Support Analyst within a large financial institution.
Experience with process optimization, data governance, or operational transformation initiatives.
