- The opportunity
- Reporting to the Manager, Marketing the Marketing Analyst will assist by analyzing sales & market trends; managing product inventory levels and lifecycles, coordinating packaging development with the creative services team, carry out budget plan tracking, project setup and timeline management in respective programs and extensive cross-category communications and collaboration for the business. This role operates wihtin a hybrid work model, requiring a 3 day presence onsite in our Mississauga office.

- Data Analysis
- Analyzing data from both internal and syndicated sources to monitor marketplace trends and support strategies to drive the business
- Ultilize various data sources as well as consumer insights to support strategic recommendations and decisions
- Support the Canadian team in managing the marketing budget, including invoicing process and tracking
- Adhoc analysis such as: portfolio/brands performance analysis and specific programs deep-dive, consumer trends, consumer insights, category dynamics and competitive knowledge
- SKU Management
- Lead product adoptions and set up in the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, completing assigned workfront tasks and participating in planning meetings with international teams
- Lead in managing shipment/pos/inventory evaluation, recommendations, and monthly tracking to ensure financial and inventory goals met.
- Assist in weekly meetings to track production, shipment and in DC availability
- Support tactics to ensure development calendars are tracking on time and coordinate with Supply Chain, Product Development and other contacts as needed
- Manage products through their lifecycle; establish and maintain inventory target levels with planning and analytics teams
- Marketing and Product Management (Online, Brick & Mortar)
- Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure successful delivery of local market needs and effectiveness of marketing programs
- Manage and procure the image asset creation for business specific programs/new launches and deliver based on retailer specific guidelines
- Submission of pricing forms and any updates for total business
- Placing and managing sample orders as needed
- Maintain team cheat sheet for most up-to-date reference on program
- Brand Execution
- Support Marketing Manager to ensure perfect execution of the product and brand in-store and online
- Maintain packaging reference deck for all categories
- Monitor online stores and B&M stores to build into marketing strategy
- Build, maintain and communicate new product information forms and product sell sheets
- Assist team on ad hoc projects, as required
- The requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2 years relevant work experience in product management, brand management, retail management, analytics or direct to consumer experience,
- Experience in CPG or apparel industry
- NPD & data analytics skills
- Analytically focused with ability to create insights from data
- MS Office Proficiency (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, a strong asset
- Ability to work effectively with a wide, range of constituencies in a diverse/global company
- Meticulously organized, have an innate curiosity to learn
- Detail-oriented, ability to execute tasks with unprompted follow-up
- Ability to learn new software as updates become available
- Knowledge of PLM, SAP, an asset
- Written/verbal communication and listening.

- Salary Range: $51,275 - $60,000
