Role Description This is a part-time, remote Market Research Analyst role. The Market Research Analyst will gather and analyze data on audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors across T.A.P’s content categories. This role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, tracking media and cultural trends, and assessing market opportunities relevant to African-focused digital content. The Market Research Analyst will prepare clear reports and insights to inform editorial planning, content strategy, and audience engagement initiatives. The role also includes presenting findings to stakeholders and recommending data-driven actions to support platform growth.
Qualifications
Strong Market Research and Market Analysis skills to assess audience segments, content performance, and platform opportunities.
Proven Analytical Skills and Research abilities to collect, interpret, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
Effective Communication skills to present findings, create reports, and collaborate with editorial and strategy teams.
Familiarity with digital media, social platforms, and content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social insights dashboards).
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
Knowledge or interest in African cultures, media landscapes, and socio-economic trends is highly beneficial.
Relevant academic background in Marketing, Economics, Media Studies, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
