Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Analyst

• Position: Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Analyst
• Location: Remote Work
• Type of Employment: 12+ Months Contract

Role Description:

• Implement OSCAR Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enable electronic batch records along with equipment and OCPLM integration for Frederick Manufacturing. The goal is to reduce batch record errors, automate data capture, provide a clear audit trail, and shorten manufacturing lead times.
• Role Scope / Deliverables:
• Bridge business needs technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements; create user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and user training; support User Acceptance Testing.
• Work in an agile environment to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Focus on Manufacturing Operations within Frederick, MD and other sites.
• Required Qualifications:
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and project-management principles.
• Advanced data analysis and reporting skills using Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and other project-management/documentation tools.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communication abilities.
• Experience creating user stories, process flows, and conducting UAT.
• Knowledge of MES systems and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with software development or configuration tools.
• Life-science or GxP environment background.
• Other Skills and Abilities:
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks independently or within a team.
• Strong written and oral communication, customer focus, and time-management skills.
