The Division of Enrollment Management is seeking a Lead Enrollment Analyst who will provide advanced analytical expertise in predictive modeling, strategic enrollment intelligence, financial aid analytics, and market research to support data-informed enrollment planning and institutional decision-making.
Job Summary/Basic Function
The Lead Enrollment Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert, advancing the College’s use of predictive analytics, strategic enrollment intelligence, financial aid modeling, and market research to support enrollment institutional planning and decision-making.
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Research and Strategy, the incumbent will be responsible for transforming complex institutional and external data into actionable insights that inform enrollment growth, student success, tuition revenue planning, and long-term strategic priorities.
The Lead Enrollment Analyst will apply advanced analytical methodologies to transform complex institutional and external data into strategic insights that support enrollment planning and institutional decision-making. Utilizing SQL and other programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and advanced visualization tools, the incumbent will develop predictive models, build and maintain data pipelines, and create sophisticated reporting solutions that support yield forecasting, enrollment trend analysis, attrition risk identification, financial aid optimization, and tuition revenue planning. Working closely with enrollment leaders and campus stakeholders, the Lead Enrollment Analyst will provide analytical expertise that advances data-informed decision-making and supports the College's strategic enrollment priorities.
Characteristic Duties And Responsibilities
Predictive Analytics & Statistical Modeling
- Apply advanced statistical methodologies, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques and related tools to support strategic enrollment planning and institutional decision-making
- Develop and maintain predictive models related to yield forecasting, melt risk identification, enrollment pipeline health, and student retention analyses
- Conduct complex analyses and translate findings into actionable recommendations that support recruitment strategies, enrollment planning, and resource allocation decisions.
Financial Aid Modeling & Optimization
- Develop and maintain financial aid and enrollment models to assess the relationship between aid strategies, enrollment outcomes, and tuition revenue
- Utilize regression analyses and other statistical methodologies to support enrollment forecasting, scenario planning, and merit aid optimization.
- Provide analytical support for strategic financial aid decisions and enrollment management initiatives.
Advanced Data Visualization & Executive Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, executive reports, and interactive reporting tools that support data-informed decision-making
- Create visualizations and reporting solutions that effectively communicate enrollment trends, forecasts, and outcomes to a variety of stakeholders
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of enrollment reporting resources across the College.
Market Research & Competitive Benchmarking
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, demographic analyses, and prospective student studies to identify trends and opportunities impacting enrollment performance
- Analyze internal and external data sources to support recruitment strategies, program planning, and enrollment initiatives
- Provide insights regarding market conditions, student demand, and competitor activity to support strategic planning efforts
Data Management & Systems Integration
- Extract, integrate, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to support enrollment analytics and reporting needs
- Develop and maintain complex datasets, automated reporting processes, and data pipelines that improve data accessibility, quality, and efficiency
- Utilize Slate CRM and other institutional systems to support data collection, analysis, reporting, and forecasting activities.
Collaboration & Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a resource to Enrollment Management and institutional stakeholders on enrollment analytics, reporting methodologies, and data visualization best practices
- Develop analytical resources and foundational datasets that support research, reporting, and strategic planning efforts across the division
- Collaborate with colleagues across Enrollment Management, Institutional Research, Information Technology, and other campus partners to support data-informed decision-making
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues and student employees regarding Tableau, statistical analysis, reporting practices, and data troubleshooting
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Technology, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- Five (5) + years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, institutional research, business intelligence, data science, enrollment analytics, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and demonstrated experience utilizing Python, R, or comparable statistical programming languages
- Experience developing predictive models, conducting advanced statistical analyses, and working with large, complex datasets
- Experience designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions utilizing Tableau or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
- Experience developing machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
- Experience supporting enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, institutional research, or higher education strategy functions
- Experience with Slate CRM, Banner, Argos, Tableau, and higher education reporting systems
- Knowledge of enrollment forecasting, financial aid modeling, tuition revenue planning, and market research methodologies
- Demonstrated experience translating data into strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
Salary Range
$88,000 - $95,000
