Lead Business System Analyst

We're looking for a senior-level Technical Business Systems Analyst to join Client’s Virtual Product Development (VPD) Systems & Platforms team - the group that owns enterprise High Performance Compute (HPC) capabilities for engineering modeling and simulation.

• Job Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst 5 – HPC Platforms
• Location: Mossville, IL
• Contract: 12 Months Contract
• Pay Rate: $46.00 per hour on W2

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of system architecture, business strategy, and HPC technology. You'll drive end-to-end lifecycle management of on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based HPC platforms while influencing technology investments at the executive level.

About The Role:

• Lead architecture, design, and lifecycle management of HPC platforms (on-prem, hybrid, cloud).
• Define reference architectures for compute (CPU/GPU/accelerators), interconnects, parallel storage, and workload orchestration.
• Translate complex workload requirements into scalable, cost-effective system designs.
• Establish performance benchmarks, capacity models, and scaling strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and guide vendor selection & platform roadmaps.
• Serve as liaison across HPC operations, business units, and IT infrastructure teams

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting executive-level technology investment decisions.
• Experience with architecture governance or enterprise standards bodies.

• Linux systems & automation
• HPC schedulers (Slurm, PBS, LSF)
• High-speed networking (InfiniBand, HPC Ethernet)
• Parallel & distributed storage systems
• Capacity planning & cost modeling
• Cloud/hybrid HPC strategies
• GPU computing & AI/ML workloads
• Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
