Role Description The Junior Functional Analyst will work on-site in Indianapolis, IN in a full-time capacity, collaborating with business and technical teams to understand organizational processes and translate them into functional requirements. In this role, the analyst will assist in gathering and documenting business needs, mapping current and future business processes, and supporting the configuration and testing of IT solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing data and workflows, preparing functional specifications, participating in meetings with stakeholders, and helping to identify areas for process improvement. The Junior Functional Analyst will also support user training, produce clear documentation, and contribute to ongoing enhancements and maintenance of systems under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in functional analysis and the ability to interpret and document functional requirements.
Business analysis capabilities, including understanding business processes and translating them into system features.
Analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and recommend solutions for improving business process efficiency.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycles, requirements gathering methods, and testing practices.
Proficiency with productivity tools such as spreadsheets, presentation software, and documentation tools.
Ability to learn new systems quickly, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
