Investment Management Legal Analyst (868AE45)

Referment is working with an established investment management firm to find an analyst for its legal team supporting investor-facing activity. The role sits at the intersection of legal, compliance and commercial work, helping develop and maintain investment products while ensuring communications and marketing activity meet regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with attorneys and colleagues across investor relations, communications, business development and investment teams. This suits someone who enjoys precise drafting, varied stakeholder work and applying sound judgement in a fast-moving commercial setting.

The Role

• Support the development, marketing and ongoing maintenance of public-markets and alternative investment products.
• Review marketing materials, investor questionnaires and other investor-facing communications for accuracy and regulatory considerations.
• Help maintain compliance with applicable marketing, disclosure and related requirements.
• Build an understanding of how investment products are developed and structured while coordinating across legal and commercial teams.
• Manage several projects at once and respond thoughtfully and promptly to internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree or higher and at least four years of professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft and review detailed material carefully.
• Strong judgement, organisation and attention to detail.
• A genuine interest in the commercial and legal aspects of investment management.
• A collaborative, service-oriented approach.

Desirable Experience

Experience reviewing investor-facing materials, working within investment management, or supporting legal or compliance work as a paralegal or compliance professional would be useful but is not essential.

This could suit an experienced legal analyst, paralegal, compliance analyst or investment-management professional whose work has involved regulated communications and detailed stakeholder-facing documentation.
