Investment Banking Sr Analyst - PUI

• A leading investment bank is hiring a Senior Analyst to join its Power, Utilities & Renewables investment banking team in New York. This is a hands-on execution role offering exposure to senior bankers and clients across M&A and financing transactions.
• The team covers regulated utilities, power producers, renewables and the broader energy transition sector.

Responsibilities

• Support execution across M&A and financing transactions within Power, Utilities & Renewables
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books and sector research
• Support due diligence and coordinate with internal teams, clients and external advisers
• Take ownership of analytical workstreams and help guide junior analysts

Requirements

• 2–3 years of investment banking experience, ideally with exposure to power, utilities, renewables or energy transition
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Experience supporting M&A or capital markets execution
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver accurate, detailed work
• Strong communication skills and readiness to take on greater responsibility within a sector team
