Investment Banking Analyst

Overview

Quazar Capital is looking to hire a full-time Investment Banking Analyst to start in October/November 2026. As an Investment Banking Analyst at Quazar, you will play a critical role in the execution of M&A transactions and strategic advisory engagements for founder- and family-owned businesses across a variety of industries. This is a high-impact, hands-on position designed to build your financial, analytical, and client service skills in a boutique, entrepreneurial setting.

• Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market, industry, and buyer research to support engagements and business development.
• Track and analyze M&A trends for client communications and marketing.
• Prepare financial models, forecasts, valuations, and transaction scenarios.
• Assist in developing business plans, budgets, and strategic analyses.
• Support creation of client deliverables (CIMs, presentations, pitch materials).
• Participate in buyer/seller outreach, due diligence, and transaction documentation.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for clients, investors, and partners.
• Coordinate internal deal team efforts and manage timelines.
• Perform office duties with attention to detail and contribute across the organization.
• Attend industry webinars, training sessions, and networking events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); CRM familiarity is a plus.
• Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary is dependent on qualifications and may exceed $75,000/year
• Bonuses paid based on transaction closing and at year-end
