Department & Role Relationships
• Able to program in Java and understands Oracle 9i/PL SQL. Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of experience programming interface engines in HL7, which is a standard for transferring electronic health information. Other Requirements:
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills in a customer service environment.
• Flexibility in the work schedule is required, including the ability to work on site in Chicago as needed and remotely when the situation allows
Knowledge: • Health Level 7 (HL7) Standards: Deep understanding of HL7 standards for electronic health information exchange.
• Interface Engine Technology: Knowledge of how to design, develop, and maintain interface programs.
• UNIX/AIX Operating Systems: Familiarity with these environments is crucial for maintaining robust applications. Skills:
• Programming: Proficiency in Java programming and Oracle 9i/PL SQL.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse system requirements and user needs to design effective solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Skills in identifying issues and formulating clear, effective solutions. Abilities:
