Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a growing organization focused on protecting critical systems, data, and technology infrastructure. This role offers exposure across security operations, risk management, compliance, and data protection initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on security professional comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities.

Job Title: Information Security Analyst

Location: Boston, MA (Onsite - 5 days/week)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and potential threats
• Support cybersecurity risk management, data protection, and security governance initiatives
• Assist with vulnerability management, compliance activities, and security assessments
• Support security policy development, security awareness efforts, and documentation
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to strengthen the organization's overall security posture

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
• Approximately 5 years of cybersecurity or information security experience
• Experience with data security, data classification, and data protection initiatives
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, data labeling, DLP, and related security controls
• Experience monitoring, triaging, and escalating security alerts within a security operations environment
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO
• Familiarity with emerging AI security, AI governance, or AI risk management concepts
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar credentials preferred

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Exposure to vulnerability management and security tooling such as Rapid7 or similar platforms
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated industries

Compensation

• Base Salary: $125,000 - $175,000
• Bonus opportunity available

Additional Information

• Participation in periodic after-hours support or on-call responsibilities may be required
