- Position Overview
- The Senior Analyst, Fixed Income Attribution serves as a subject matter expert in fixed income performance attribution, providing analytical support, technical expertise, and business partnership across investment teams. This role requires a strong understanding of fixed income securities, attribution methodologies, and performance measurement.
- Key Responsibilities
- Fixed Income Attribution & Performance Analysis
- Manage and support the end-to-end fixed income attribution process, including:
- Transaction loading into vendor platforms
- Security mapping and classification
- Performance return reconciliation
- Attribution reconciliation
- Analysis and interpretation of results
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of performance and attribution data generated by fixed income attribution platforms.
- Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Identify business issues, opportunities, and enhancement initiatives related to fixed income attribution processes and reporting.
- Recommend and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency, reporting quality, and platform functionality.
- Evaluate and document business requirements for complex projects and technology initiatives.
- Assess project feasibility and develop recommendations for stakeholders and management.
- Technology & Platform Support
- Provide subject matter expertise for fixed income attribution platforms and related processes.
- Support platform development, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancements.
- Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement solutions to complex business challenges.
- Stakeholder Partnership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Analysts, Client Reporting teams, and other stakeholders.
- Explain performance and attribution results in a clear and actionable manner.
- Help ensure attribution models align with portfolio management objectives and investment strategies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of fixed income securities, characteristics, and performance attribution concepts.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex attribution results to diverse audiences.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of fixed income attribution methodologies and models.
- Knowledge of return drivers across multiple fixed income strategies.

- FactSet
- Progress toward or completion of a professional designation such as:
- CIPM
- CFA
