  • Company Description
  • AlgoChains Incorporated is a fintech startup building an algorithmic trading platform that makes institutional-grade strategy tools accessible to retail and professional traders. We connect directly to live brokers, execute automated trading strategies in real time, and are building a marketplace where strategy creators can share and monetize their work. We're a Delaware corporation, pre-Series A, moving fast, and we take compliance seriously as a core part of how we build.
  • Role Description
  • This is a full-time remote role for a Fintech Compliance Analyst. You'll own AlgoChains Incorporated's compliance program end-to-end, tracking our regulatory obligations, maintaining internal policies, and serving as the operational point of contact for anything touching SEC, FINRA, CFTC, FinCEN, and data privacy requirements. This is a builder role: we don't have a compliance department yet, and you'll be creating the foundation.
  • What You'll Work On
  • Maintaining and evolving our AML/KYC program in line with BSA and FinCEN requirements
  • Monitoring SEC, FINRA, and CFTC rulemaking for obligations that apply to our platform and broker integrations
  • Managing data privacy obligations under CCPA and GDPR as our user base scales
  • Supporting broker and institutional partner due diligence requests and compliance questionnaires
  • Tracking state-level money transmitter and regulatory requirements as we expand
  • Coordinating with legal counsel on regulatory submissions, policy updates, and new product launches
  • Building and maintaining an internal compliance matrix that keeps pace with our roadmap

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of compliance, regulatory, or legal experience in fintech, financial services, or a broker-dealer environment
  • Working knowledge of SEC, FINRA, FinCEN/BSA, and AML/KYC frameworks
  • Familiarity with CCPA and GDPR data privacy obligations
  • Comfortable operating independently in an early-stage environment with limited process already in place
  • Strong written communication, including drafting policies, regulatory responses, and internal documentation
  • Series 7, Series 65, or CAMS certification is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law, economics, business, or a related field
