Job Opportunity: Fund Financial Reporting Analyst (Contract) | Irvine, CA
Are you an experienced Financial Reporting or Fund Accounting professional looking for your next high-impact role with a premier investment management leader in Orange County?
We are currently recruiting for a Fund Financial Reporting Analyst for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity based in Irvine, CA!
💰 Pay Rate: $78.00/hour
⏰ Schedule: First Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
📍 Location: Irvine, CA
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review mutual fund financial statements, shareholder reports, and regulatory filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC standards.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, financial highlights, and fund disclosures for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead audit support by preparing workpapers, schedules, and responses for external auditors.
• Collaborate across internal teams (Fund Accounting, Legal, Tax, Valuation) and offshore partners to resolve accounting and disclosure matters.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit within mutual funds, ETFs, or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting/reporting requirements.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (experience with DFIN ArcReporting is a big plus!).
