  • Job Title: FP&A Analyst
  • Location: Remote – preference for candidates located in Baltimore or surrounding areas
  • Travel: Infrequent East Coast travel, primarily within the DMV region
  • Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 base + bonus + benefits
  • Position Overview
  • We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a growing organization and provide financial analysis and decision support across the business. This is a highly analytical and visible position that will work closely with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, KPI reporting, and a variety of strategic and ad-hoc initiatives.

Approximately 50% of the role will involve ad-hoc analysis and supporting evolving business needs, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and turning financial information into actionable insights.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
  • Perform profitability, margin, and financial trend analysis
  • Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Develop financial models from scratch to support business planning
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and areas of concern
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting based on business needs
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
  • Interpret income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Improve existing reporting processes
  • Translate large amounts of data into clear, meaningful recommendations
  • Ideal Background
  • Prior experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business analytics, or similar
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and financial performance drivers
  • Demonstrated experience building financial models from the ground up
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Ability to work with large data sets and identify meaningful trends
  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience is highly preferred
