Financial Analyst

LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in the Springfield MA metro area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership. The role is hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

• Position works independently with several cross functional departments and contacts including clinical management, support staff, patient accounting, finance, human resources, and information systems.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Supports Sr. Leadership with routine labor analysis and reporting. This includes daily/weekly/monthly reports on labor costs, productivity, and caseloads. Maintains an internal position control document that reconciles with HR cost center and vacancy reports.
• Assembles and provides analysis on data from various financial and clinical systems, prepares and presents reports related to referrals and volume, labor trends and other key operational metrics. Investigates variances or negative trends when possible and communicates findings to Sr. Leadership.
• Supports Sr. Leadership and HR with data preparation and correspondence for critical meetings and presentations. This includes working with HR on analysis of various labor models, drafting correspondence, and facilitating communication with outside parties and stakeholders.
• Actively participates and/or coordinates the analysis and presentation of strategic initiatives, new business processes and other special projects,
• Monitors daily electronic time entry for accuracy and records exceptions when necessary; Identifies and reports on exception trends.
• Required Work Experience:
• 3 years in a healthcare financial analysis environment with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, assemble data, and resolve operational issue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel

Hourly compensation DOE - $40-48/hr
