Financial Analyst

• Location: Decatur, GA
• Duration: Contract-to-permanent
• Compensation: $40-$50/hr.
• Description:
• One of our client's is looking for a Project Financial Analyst in the Decatur/Greater Atlanta area. This person will provide financial support across a portfolio of capital projects.
• Responsibilities include:
• Track project spending, commitments, accruals, and financial forecasts
• Analyze actual project costs against budgets and identify variances or potential overruns
• Partner with Project Managers to review project financial performance and upcoming spend
• Maintain financial models and project budget trackers
• Help update forecasts as schedules, costs, and project requirements change
• Prepare recurring financial reports and budget updates for leadership
• Identify budget risks and communicate potential deviations to project teams

Qualifications:

• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or project cost management
• Experience analyzing actual vs. planned spend and identifying budget variances
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
