- TJob Purpose
- The Finance / Back-Office Implementation Consultant supports the Account Processing Group in implementing Fiserv’s DNA Core Banking Solution. This role provides financial and operational consulting, client training, workflow assessment, and reconciliation support to ensure a smooth transition from a client’s legacy system to DNA. The consultant partners with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial processing and prepares clients to independently manage their DNA environment post-conversion.
- This position also provides recommendations and implementation support for post-live enhancements and professional service engagements.
- Essential Job Responsibilities
- Support consulting and internal delivery teams throughout DNA implementations and post-live engagements
- Configure and implement DNA Core Processing functionality, with emphasis on Finance and Back-Office operations
- Document client requirements, internal discussions, and implementation decisions
- Execute assigned project tasks and manage deliverables to completion
- Manage and resolve a defined set of service cases; escalate complex issues as appropriate
- Test new and existing DNA product features and functionality
- Engage with clients to evaluate conversion readiness and ensure successful financial outcomes
- Ensure overall client satisfaction throughout implementation and stabilization phases
- Develop and validate transaction workflows from sub-ledger activity to the General Ledger using DNA tools
- Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Support client testing of applicable custom code
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience within the banking or credit union industry
- Subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Finance and Accounting
- Back-Office Processing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Willingness to travel
- Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience working with the DNA core processing system
- Prior core conversion or migration experience
- Experience working in a bank or credit union operations environment (front and back office)
- SQL knowledge
- Presentation and client training experience
- Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 50–75%, which may include weekends and holidays
