• Salary: $75,000-$85,000 + Profit Sharing (may consider up to $90k for the right candidate)

We have an exciting opportunity and are looking to hire a Financial Accounting Analyst. This role will primarily focus on cost forecasting, budget analysis, and supporting payroll processing, alongside standard general ledger accounting duties.

We need someone with enthusiasm, skillls, smarts, and drive. You'd be offering your input on how to build and grow the accounting team, streamline financial tracking, and support payroll while keeping costs low and complying with GAAP and DCAA guidelines.

Important Skills and Responsibilities:

• An active CPA license, or working toward one
• Performing account reconciliations, particularly payroll liabilities, accruals, and GL accounts
• Recommending cost-control measures and process improvements to maximize profit and keep project budgets on track
• Presenting budget insights and payroll reporting to the accounting team and leadership
• Performing budget-to-actual variance analysis, department spend tracking, and forecasting operational costs
• Establishing and analyzing costs of business processes such as labor rates, administration, and program overhead

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or FP&A
• High attention to detail and ability to consistently comply with regulations, policies, and federal accounting guidelines
