BCTG's client is seeking a hands-on Enterprise BI Data Architect to design and deliver enterprise reporting and analytics solutions that integrate data across ERP and business systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI and data architecture, combined with enough ERP experience to understand enterprise data flows and business processes. This role will partner closely with business and technical teams to modernize reporting, automate manual processes, and build scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design enterprise BI and analytics solutions using modern data architecture best practices.
  • Build scalable data models, semantic layers, and reporting solutions.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions between ERP systems and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics that consolidate data across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Replace manual Excel-based reporting with automated, governed enterprise reporting.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and data standards.
  • Work with Data Engineering teams to optimize data models, performance, and data quality.
  • Provide technical leadership on BI architecture, data governance, and reporting strategy.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in BI, Data Architecture, Analytics Engineering, or Data Warehousing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and enterprise data modeling.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP ECC, or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience designing enterprise reporting solutions that span multiple business functions rather than departmental reporting.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and enterprise data governance.
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile
  • The ideal candidate is approximately 60-70% BI/Data Architect and 30-40% ERP-focused, with strong hands-on technical skills, experience building enterprise analytics solutions, and enough ERP knowledge to understand how business data flows across the organization. They should be a technical contributor who can design solutions while remaining hands-on in delivery.
