Engagement Manager, Agentic AI & Data Science

Responsibilities

• Lead or support client engagements focused on data analytics, forecasting, and AI-enabled workflow improvement
• Assess existing forecasting, planning, reporting, and analytics processes
• Identify where agentic AI capabilities can support recurring analysis, scenario planning, data review, exception handling, and decision-making
• Help design practical agentic AI workflows that improve speed, quality, consistency, and scalability of analytical work
• Work with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into executable solutions
• Review deliverables, provide feedback to junior team members, and ensure work products meet consulting-quality standards
• Support client communications, project planning, status updates, and executive-ready deliverables
• Contribute to the development of Wellesley Cove Group’s AI-native consulting offerings

Qualifications

• Prior consulting experience required, ideally with Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, or a similar consulting firm
• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data-driven decision support
• Familiarity with financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, or related finance / FP&A processes
• Ability to think creatively about how AI agents can be applied to business workflows
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-management skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and structure work in a fast-moving environment
• Experience reviewing and improving the work of analysts, consultants, or technical team members

• Python, statistical modeling, or data science exposure
• Experience with forecasting models, scenario analysis, or planning tools
• Exposure to AI agents, LLM-based workflows, automation, or applied generative AI
• Prior experience in finance transformation, analytics transformation, or AI-enabled operations

Base salary: $185,000 per year plus benefits.
