Docketing Analyst

A highly-regarded AmLaw firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Docketing Analyst to join its team. This role is fully remote.

• Location: 100% Remote (candidates must reside and work in CST, MST, PST time zones)
• Compensation: Up to $95,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

• The analyst will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of litigation deadlines and the integrity of the firm’s master calendar.
• System Input: Accurately input case information into the electronic calendaring system, with emphasis on Compulaw.
• Deadline Calculation: Calculate, enter, and format case events and deadlines by applying federal, state, and local court rules.
• Rules Monitoring: Maintain a working knowledge of updates and changes to court rules and procedures (USDC, state court, and Alternative Dispute Resolution agencies).
• Case Review: Review all incoming documents for deadline monitoring.
• Team Support: Advise attorneys of upcoming dates, respond to inquiries from case teams regarding calendared events and rules, and provide necessary reports.
• Workload Management: Plan and organize workload to comply with established time constraints.
• Research: Conduct research for strategic calendaring as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 4-5+ years of dedicated experience as a Docketing Clerk or Analyst. Litigation docketing experience is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience using calendaring software, Compulaw and Milana
• Thorough familiarity with federal, state, and local court rules, procedures, and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
