  • Role Description The Data Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining data across various systems and platforms. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and validating data, performing routine and ad hoc data analyses, and creating clear reports or dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves supporting data modeling activities, ensuring data integrity, and documenting processes and data flows. The Data Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, optimize data structures, and contribute to ongoing improvements in data quality and accessibility.
  • Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Data Analysis and Data Analytics skills to interpret data sets and generate insights.
  • Candidates should possess solid Data Management skills, including experience with data validation, data governance, and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills to design and optimize data structures that support reporting and analysis.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to solve problems, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Relevant experience with spreadsheets, databases, or BI tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a remote environment are required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders are preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, information systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
